BECOME A DIVER:
You will need to take the Open water course. It includes:
*Home studying:
You read at home the Open water book cover to cover.
*2 academic sessions:
We go over the information you read in the book to clarify any
misunderstandings and we takes some quizzes.
*2 pool sessions:
We practice in the pool the skills you need to know in order to enjoy safely
your diving adventures.
At this point you are ready to get certified.
Open water Certification takes 4 dives over a period of 2 days. You have the option of doing it locally in Bellingham in the Pugget sound or the lake Whatcom or you can do it on your vacation somewhere else.
WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE OPEN WATER COURSE:
You will need to get your own mask, fins, boots and snorkel.
Having gear that fits you can make the difference between a great time and a miserable experience. The rest of the gear will be provided for the duration of the course. We work with local retailers that will help you get the gear that fits your needs.
